Multi-aged Grouping Based on Periods of Development:
This family-like setting allows each child to experience
a variety of roles. As the youngest in the group, the
child learns from the older children. They then assume
greater responsibility as the "middle" children, and are
role models when they become the oldest in the classroom
setting. Giving them the unique opportunity to learn
from and teach each other.
